OLIVE GROVES
We are a family business that has been producing extra virgin olive oil for more than 20 years.
50 years ago, our nono planted the first olive trees on our olive grove for domestic use. 2000. In year 2000, we decided to plant a few more olive trees. At that time, we had about two hundred of them. Over the years, the number of olive trees in our olive grove increased and today, 23 years later, we have more than 1,000 olive trees on the area larger than 40,000 m2. Our olive groves are in the small town of Gedići, which is 7 km away from Poreč.
Production
Every year we witness the process of cultivation and processing from olives to extra virgin olive oil in our olive groves.
Harvesting of semi-ripe products, cold processing within 24 hours, preservation, storage of oil in stainless steel barrels without the presence of air and bottling as the final step. These are all parts of the process that happens every year to get to our high-quality Floris extra virgin olive oil.
