THE FLORIS FAMILY

 

The Floris family, from small place called Gedići, has been producing extra virgin olive oil for more than 20 years with over than 1,000 olive trees on area larger than 40,000 m2. Floris extra virgin olive oil is the winner of numerous awards from olive oil competitions.

Our selection of extra virgin olive oils provides a rich and intense palate with a sharp spiciness and mild bitterness, typically associated with high quality olive oil.

We have four types of extra virgin olive oils in our offer: Leccino, Frantoio, Istrian white, and a Blend.

Leccino

Leccino is a varietal extra virgin olive oil that stands out for its deep green color, fruity aroma and combination of spicy and sweet taste.

Such oil is the best addition to young cheese and raw fish.

Frantoio is a variety of extra virgin olive oil of superior quality, light green in color, and fruity with a dominant taste of green olives, aromatic herbs and almonds.

Such oil is the best addition to blue fish and red meat.

Istarska bjelica is a varietal extra virgin olive oil of extremely high quality, golden yellow in color with warm green notes.

Such oil is the best addition to scrambled eggs with asparagus.

Blend Floris is a combination of Istrian Bjelica, Frantoia and Leccino that gives moderate bitterness and mild spiciness.

We recommend using it with raw fish and semi-hard cheese.
